We are way psyched….the King of Kings Open Skate is just around the corner. These guys will be throwing down in a major way on our street course and all skaters are invited to skate with these guys stopping through with the 08 Tour.

On July 16, 2008, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM East 91st Church, Shepherd Community, Jirah Sports, Refuge Skate Board Ministry, and Christian Boarder are hosting an Open Skate with King of Kings Skateboard Ministry (kksm.org) at East 91st St on Indianapolis northside. Come ready to skate! Bring your helmet and parent to sign a waiver!
Over the next month East 91st Church will also be collecting skate boards, pads and helmets for a skate board program/ministry at Shepherd Community and Jirah Sports that will start this fall for innercity at risk kids. Get involved and donate equipment!

SkateCamp on Friday, July 18th at Shepherd Community! Located on the east Washington Street in Indianapolis. Registration begins at 9 AM on Friday. Open to ages 6-18. Snacks, lunch, and dinner provided to all skaters free of charge!
Refuge Skateboard Ministry, Jireh Sports, Shepherd Community, and Christian Boarder will be hosting a full day skateboard camp from 10am-4pm. There will be skateboarders present to provide instruction of all levels on a street course in the parking lot of Shepherd Community.
Groups will be divided by skill level and receive personal instruction by skateboarders with Refuge Skateboard Ministry. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided!
An exhibition by the “campers” for each other and their families at 5 PM. No equipment; no problem. Refuge Skateboard Ministry and Christian Boarder will provide loaner equipment for the day to any person who registers and unable to bring their own!
There will be a free open skate King of Kings Skate Ministry at 6PM! Check out their vids at kksm.org.
